In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Gate City Blue Devils volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Abingdon Falcons.

The Blue Devils (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Clintwood (Clintwood, VA). The Green Wave come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Falcons clash with the Virginia High Bearcats (Bristol, VA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 8. Abingdon will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Bearcats come into the battle with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Radford (Radford, VA).
