Nebraska High School Volleyball - Pleasanton over Anselmo-Merna

Pleasanton Bulldogs (Pleasanton, NE) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Anselmo-Merna Coyotes (Merna, NE), 3-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Central Valley Cougars (Greeley, NE) in a D1 District 10 match, on Thursday, September 8. Pleasanton will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Fullerton (Fullerton, NE).

With the loss, Anselmo-Merna drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Coyotes host Sandhills Valley (Stapleton, NE) to battle the Mavericks in a non-league match on Thursday, September 15. The Mavericks come into the match with a record of 2-5.
