Kansas High School Volleyball - Horton edged by Atchison County

The Atchison County Tigers held off the visiting Horton Chargers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Tigers now have a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Falls for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 6. Atchison County will confront a Dragons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Silver Lake (Silver Lake, KS). The Dragons record now stands at 3-3.

The Chargers (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Nemaha Central (Seneca, KS). The Thunder enter the non-league test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Nemaha Central held off Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] (Wathena, KS), 2-0, in a non-league test.
