The Bourbon County Colonels volleyball team (Paris, KY), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting George Rogers Clark Cardinals (Winchester, KY)

The Cardinals (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY). The Indians enter the District 40 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Montgomery County was nudged by Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Colonels encounter the Madison Southern Eagles (Berea, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 8. Bourbon County will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Bryan Station (Lexington, KY).
