Indiana High School Volleyball - Hammond Central over Bowman Academy

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Hammond Central Wolves (Hammond, IN) and the visiting Bowman Academy Eagles (Gary, IN), saw Hammond Central's volleyball squad beat Bowman Academy by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Hammond Central upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Wolves travel to Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN) to play the Governors in a Great Lakes bout on Thursday, September 8. The Governors go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Hammond Morton won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Hammond Academy of Science & Tech (Hammond, IN)

The Eagles now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Marquette Catholic for a non-league test on Thursday, September 8. Bowman Academy will confront a Blazers team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over South Bend St. Joseph (South Bend, IN). The Blazers record now stands at 5-1.
