In Tuesday's league contest, the Central Christian Comets (Kidron, OH) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting St. Peter's Spartans (Mansfield, OH), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Comets battle the Mansfield Christian Flames (Mansfield, OH) in a Mid-Buckeye contest, on Thursday, September 8. Central Christian will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Flames come into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Crestline (Crestline, OH).

With the loss, St. Peter's drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Spartans host Lucas (Lucas, OH) to battle the Cubs in a Mid-Buckeye contest on Thursday, September 8. The Cubs come into the contest with a record of 5-4. Lucas lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Loudonville (Loudonville, OH)
