The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) and the host Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA), saw Chavez's volleyball squad beat Monroe by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Chavez upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA) to play the Hunters in a non-league bout on Friday, September 9. The Hunters go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Canoga Park won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Panorama (Panorama City, CA)

The Vikings now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Poly for a East Valley bout on Thursday, September 8. Monroe will play a Parrots squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Walnut (Walnut, CA). The Parrots record now stands at 6-1.
