Illinois High School Volleyball - Manteno Coal City

In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Coal City Coalers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Manteno Panthers.

The Coalers (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Streator (Streator, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Streator defeated Wilmington (Wilmington, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Lisle Lions (Lisle, IL) in a Illinois Central Eight battle, on Thursday, September 8. Manteno will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 2-1 league loss to Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL).
