The Jefferson Democrats topped the host Dr. Maya Angelou Community Phoenix volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.
The Democrats now have a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santee for a Exposition test on Tuesday, September 13. Jefferson will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Diego Rivera (Los Angeles, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-4.
The Phoenix (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA). The Romans enter the Exposition test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Los Angeles gained a win over Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
