Gilmer County Titans (Glenville, WV) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Elkins Tigers (Elkins, WV), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Titans (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Marys (St. Marys, WV). The Blue Devils enter the Little Kanawha challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, St. Marys was nudged by Tyler (Sistersville, WV), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV) in a Big Ten challenge, on Thursday, September 8. Elkins will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV).
