Georgia High School Volleyball - Lumpkin County tips Fannin County

September 6, 2022: Blue Ridge, GA 30513

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) and the host Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA), saw Lumpkin County's volleyball squad nip Fannin County by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Lumpkin County upgrades its record to 11-8 on the year. The Indians travel to Murray County (Chatsworth, GA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 6. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Murray County won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Cass (White, GA)

The Rebels now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hiwassee Dam for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 8. Fannin County will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Highlands (Highlands, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
