The Van Buren Pointers topped the host Greenbrier Panthers volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league test.
The Pointers now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenwood for a 5A West test on Thursday, September 8.
The Panthers (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Russellville (Russellville, AR). The Cyclones enter the 5A West test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Russellville was knocked off by Greenwood (Greenwood, AR), 3-0, in a league test.
