The Webster Bearcats held off the host Groton Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bearcats now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clark/Willow Lake for a non-league test on Thursday, September 8. Webster will confront a Cyclones team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD). The Cyclones record now stands at 1-2.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Roncalli (Aberdeen, SD). The Cavaliers enter the A Region 1 test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Roncalli held off Florence/Henry (Florence, SD), 3-1, in a non-league test.
