The Wildcats now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bob Hope for a non-league game on Thursday, September 8. Kirbyville will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Good Samaritan HomeSchool (Fred, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-6.

The Hornets (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Jasper (Jasper, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 3-9 record. In their last game, Jasper was dropped by Lumberton (Lumberton, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
