In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host South Haven Cardinals volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Independent Panthers.

The Cardinals (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sedan (Sedan, KS). The Devils come into the South Central Border battle with a 5-1 record. In their last battle, Sedan achieved victory over Central (Burden, KS), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Belle Plaine Dragons (Belle Plaine, KS) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 8. Independent will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Dragons come into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Medicine Lodge (Medicine Lodge, KS).
