The New Hampstead Phoenix topped the visiting Johnson Atomsmashers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Phoenix now have a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland Christian Academy for a non-league game on Thursday, September 8. New Hampstead will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cook (Adel, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-5.

The Atomsmashers (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA). The Raiders enter the 3A Area 3 game with a 11-7 record. In their last game, Savannah Christian defeated Effingham County (Springfield, GA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
