North Carolina High School Volleyball - Lakewood can't hold off Pender

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Pender Patriots volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Lakewood Leopards.
The Patriots (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record.
Next, the Leopards clash with the West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 8. Lakewood will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Union (Rose Hill, NC).
