The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Pike County Central Hawks (Pikeville, KY) and the visiting Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY), saw Pike County Central's volleyball squad beat Lawrence County by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Pike County Central upgrades its record to 2-5 on the year. The Hawks travel to Belfry (Belfry, KY) to play the Pirates in a District 60 bout on Thursday, September 8. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Belfry lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY)

The Bulldogs now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Morgan County for a non-league bout on Monday, September 12.
