California High School Volleyball - River Valley routed by Mountain Empire

The Mountain Empire Redhawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host River Valley Leopards to 0 in the Redhawks non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Redhawks now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calipatria for a non-league game on Thursday, September 8. Mountain Empire will meet a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Southwest EC (El Centro, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 1-4.

The Leopards (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Del Lago Academy (Escondido, CA). The Firebirds enter the non-league game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Del Lago Academy defeated San Diego Jewish Academy (San Diego, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
