The Nemaha Central Thunder (Seneca, KS) volleyball overcame the visiting Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] Cyclones (Wathena, KS), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Nemaha Central upgrades its record to 9-1 on the year. The Thunder host Marysville (Marysville, KS) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 10. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 3-5. Marysville lost 2-1 in their recent league outing against Wamego (Wamego, KS)

The Cyclones now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Royal Valley for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 6. Riverside [Wathena/Elwood] will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Silver Lake (Silver Lake, KS). The Panthers record now stands at 12-1.
