The Torres Toros volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Roosevelt Rough Riders to 2 in the Toros league victory on Tuesday.
The Toros now possess a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Selma for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 7. Torres will meet a Bears team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Orosi (Orosi, CA). The Bears record now stands at 3-2.
The Rough Riders (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Sunnyside (Fresno, CA). The Wildcats enter the CMAC/NYL game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Sunnyside was nudged by Madera South (Madera, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
