The Lanier Longhorns softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Apalachee Wildcats to 0 in the Longhorns league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Lanier moves its record to 5-4 on the year. The Longhorns travel to West Forsyth (Cumming, GA) to clash with the Wolverines in a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. The Wolverines come into the game with a record of 1-5. West Forsyth lost 10-3 in their recent non-league game against Cambridge (Milton, GA)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Shiloh Generals (Snellville, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 7. Apalachee will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record.
