Virginia High School Volleyball - Alexandria City can't hold off Woodson

In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Woodson Cavaliers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Alexandria City Titans.
The Cavaliers (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Wolverines come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, West Potomac nudged South County (Lorton, VA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Titans clash with the Forest Park Bruins (Woodbridge, VA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 9. Alexandria City will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Bruins come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Gar-Field (Woodbridge, VA).
