The Hickory Red Tornadoes topped the visiting Watauga Pioneers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Red Tornadoes now have a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Statesville for a non-league test on Thursday, September 7. Hickory will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Greyhounds record now stands at 0-4.

The Pioneers (6-2) will now prepare for their test against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league test with a 3-1 record.
