The Demons now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Grimsley for a non-league test on Friday, September 8. R.J. Reynolds will meet a Whirlies squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Whirlies record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Davie drops to 0-7 on the season. The War eagles host East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC) to meet the Eagles in a Central Piedmont 4A test on Monday, September 11. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 5-2. East Forsyth lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
