The Jones County Greyhounds softball team (Gray, GA), was tipped 11-10 in Wednesday's league test with the host Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA)

Coming up next, the Wolverines encounter the Eagle's Landing Eagles (McDonough, GA) in a 5A Region 2 test, on Thursday, September 7. Union Grove will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 0-6 record after their 41-24 league loss to Dutchtown (Hampton, GA).

The Greyhounds (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA). The Wildcats come into the 5A Region 2 test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Locust Grove edged Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA), 12-3, in a league test.
