Georgia High School Softball - Spalding thwarted by Lamar County

The Spalding Jaguars softball team (Griffin, GA), was routed 14-6 in Wednesday's non-league test with the visiting Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA)

Coming up next, the Trojans clash with the Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 4 test, on Thursday, September 7. Lamar County will attempt to improve on its 13-2 season record. The Braves come into the test with a 8-4 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Villa Rica (Villa Rica, GA).

The Jaguars (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Howard (Macon, GA). The Huskies come into the 4A Region 2 test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Howard was routed by West Laurens (Dexter, GA), 15-2, in a league test.
