The Northside Patriots softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host McIntosh Chiefs to 3 in the Patriots league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Northside moves its record to 10-1 on the year. The Patriots host East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA) to clash with the Broncos in a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. The Broncos come into the game with a record of 9-4. East Forsyth won 15-0 in their recent league game against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA)

In their next game, the Chiefs clash with the Harris County Tigers (Hamilton, GA) in a 5A Region 3 game, on Tuesday, September 12. McIntosh will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 10-5 record after their 5-1 non-league win over South Paulding (Douglasville, GA).
