The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Middle College Cougars (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Animo South Los Angeles Panthers (Los Angeles, CA), saw Middle College's volleyball squad beat Animo South Los Angeles by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Middle College upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Foshay (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Wolverines in a Crosstown bout on Friday, September 8. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Foshay won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Horace Mann UCLA Community (Los Angeles, CA)

The Panthers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to TEACH Tech Charter for a bout on Friday, September 8.
