The Apprentice Academy Red Wolves prevailed the host Valor Preparatory Academy Owls volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's league test.
The Red Wolves now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Queen's Grant for a Metro Eight 1A test on Friday, September 8. Apprentice Academy will confront a Stallions team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Carmel Christian (Matthews, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 1-3.
The Owls (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC). The Mariners enter the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Jackson Day gained a win over Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.
