The Carrier Mills-Stonefort Wildcats prevailed the host Pope County Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Wednesday's league test.

The Wildcats now have a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eldorado for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Carrier Mills-Stonefort will confront a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hamilton County (McLeansboro, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-4.

The Pirates (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Anna-Jonesboro (Anna, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 1-5 record.
