The Chalmette Owls topped the visiting Ponchatoula Green Wave volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Owls now have a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haynes Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, September 7. Chalmette will confront a team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Mary's Dominican (New Orleans, LA). The record now stands at 2-1.
The Green Wave (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Slidell (Slidell, LA). The Tigers enter the Division I District 5 test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Slidell gained a win over St. Scholastica (Covington, LA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
