The Salmon River Savages volleyball team (Riggins, ID), went down 3-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host Council Lumberjacks (Council, ID)

The Lumberjacks (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Horseshoe Bend (Horseshoe Bend, ID). The Mustangs enter the 1A Long Pin challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Horseshoe Bend defeated Cascade (Cascade, ID), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Savages encounter the Tri-Valley Titans (Cambridge, ID) in a 1A Long Pin battle, on Friday, September 8. Salmon River will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Titans come into the battle with a 3-0 record after their 3-1 league win over Garden Valley (Garden Valley, ID).
