The East Providence Townies topped the host Cranston West Falcons volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Wednesday's league test.

The Townies now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barrington for a Division 2 test on Tuesday, September 12. East Providence will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, RI). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.

The Falcons (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Pilgrim (Warwick, RI). The Patriots enter the Division 2 test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Pilgrim was knocked off by Westerly (Westerly, RI), 3-0, in a league test.
