The Marengo Panthers volleyball team (Dixons Mills, AL), was dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Hatch Bobcats (Uniontown, AL)

The Bobcats (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Keith (Orrville, AL). The Bears enter the 1A Area 6 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Keith was dropped by Dallas County (Plantersville, AL), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the Choctaw County Tigers (Butler, AL) in a 1A Area 5 challenge, on Thursday, September 7. Marengo will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS).
