La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM), 3-2 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Bears clash with the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 9. La Cueva will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Hawks come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM).

With the loss, Rio Rancho drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, September 8.
