In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Lewis Lancers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Mount Vernon Majors.

The Lancers (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Annandale (Annandale, VA). The Atoms come into the National battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Annandale went down by Justice (Falls Church, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Majors encounter the Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA) in a National battle, on Monday, September 11. Mount Vernon will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Falls Church (Falls Church, VA).
