In Wednesday's league battle, the host Robertson County Black Devils volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Pendleton County Wildcats.

The Black Devils (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY). The Bluejackets come into the District 38 battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Nicholas County achieved victory over Augusta (Augusta, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Calvary Christian Cougars (Covington, KY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 7. Pendleton County will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 7-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Villa Madonna (Covington, KY).
