Utah High School Football - St. Joseph can't hold off Altamont

September 6, 2024: Altamont, UT 84001

Altamont Longhorns (Altamont, UT) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting St. Joseph Jayhawks (Ogden, UT), 27-26 in a league battle.

With the win, Altamont advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Whitehorse (Montezuma Creek, UT) to play the Raiders in a 8-Man (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 13. The Raiders go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Whitehorse won 62-28 in their recent non-league battle against Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams (Lehi, UT)

The Jayhawks now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Utah Military Academy - Hill Field for a 8-Man Freelance (8 Man) battle on Friday, September 13. St. Joseph will play a Thunderbirds team coming off a 70-12 non-league loss to Whitehorse (Montezuma Creek, UT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-2.
