Nebraska High School Football - Battle Creek beat Aquinas

The Battle Creek Braves football squad scored 28 points and limited the host Aquinas Monarchs to 13 in the Braves non-league triumph on Friday.

The Braves now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boone Central for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Battle Creek will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 36-7 non-league loss to Norfolk Catholic (Norfolk, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Aquinas drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to Ponca (Ponca, NE) to meet the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, September 13. The Indians come into the test with a record of 1-1. Ponca lost 34-19 in their recent non-league test against Archbishop Bergan (Fremont, NE)
