The Foxcroft Academy Ponies walloped the visiting Belfast Lions football team by a score of 71-7 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Ponies play the Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 13. Foxcroft Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Mariners go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 30-14 non-league win over Brunswick (Brunswick, ME).
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mattanawcook/Lee Academy/Penobscot Valley (Lincoln, ME). The go into the D North challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Mattanawcook/Lee Academy/Penobscot Valley was ripped by Maranacook (Readfield, ME), 23-14, in a non-league challenge.
