Tennessee High School Football - Macon County can't hold off Upperman

September 6, 2024: Baxter, TN 38544

The Upperman Bees got by the visiting Macon County Tigers football team by a score of 35-34 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Bees play the Livingston Academy Wildcats (Livingston, TN) in a 4A Region 4 challenge, on Friday, September 13. Upperman will attempt to improve on its 3-0 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 42-8 league loss to DeKalb County (Smithville, TN).

The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Smith County (Carthage, TN). The Owls go into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Smith County was edged by Liberty Creek (Gallatin, TN), 23-12, in a non-league challenge.
