The Midland Trail Patriots football team (Hico, WV), was topped 19-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Poca The Dots (Poca, WV)

With the win, Poca advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The The Dots host Buffalo (Buffalo, WV) to encounter the Bison in a Little Kanawha bout on Friday, September 13. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Buffalo lost 53-14 in their recent non-league bout against Clay County (Clay, WV)

The Patriots now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Braxton County for a non-league bout on Friday, September 13. Midland Trail will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Lewis County (Weston, WV). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
