North Carolina High School Football - Smoky Mountain trounced by T.C. Roberson

September 6, 2024: Asheville, NC 28803

T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC), 49-7 in a non-league battle.

With the win, T.C. Roberson advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Rams host McDowell (Marion, NC) to play the Titans in a Mountain Athletic 3A/4A battle on Friday, September 20. The Titans go into the battle with a record of 0-3.

The Mustangs now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Murphy for a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. Smoky Mountain will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 36-33 non-league win over West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
