Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Peabody Veterans Memorial Tanners (Peabody, MA), 6-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Masconomet Regional advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Saugus (Saugus, MA) to clash with the Sachems in a non-league test on Monday, September 9. The Sachems come into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Tanners now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Salem for a non-league test on Monday, September 9.
