Fans at Friday's league battle between the Milford Spartans (Milford, NH) and the visiting Coe-Brown Academy Bears (Northwood, NH), saw Milford's soccer squad hold off Coe-Brown Academy by a count of 2-1.

The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Kingswood (Wolfeboro, NH). The Knights enter the Division II battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, Kingswood tipped Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH), 5-3, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bears battle the Kennett Eagles (Conway, NH) in a Division II battle, on Tuesday, September 10. Coe-Brown Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 4-0 league loss to Oyster River (Durham, NH).
