In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Latta Panthers softball team scored a nice 11-2 win over the Calera Bulldogs.

The Panthers (16-4) will now prepare for their match against Atoka (Atoka, OK). The Wampus Cats come into the non-league match with a 7-10 record. In their last match, Atoka was routed by Tushka (Atoka, OK), 2-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Rock Creek Mustangs (Bokchito, OK) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 10. Calera will attempt to better on its 12-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 5-10 record after their 8-3 league win over Quinton (Quinton, OK).
