The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Millard West Wildcats (Omaha, NE) and the visiting Westview (Omaha, NE), observed Millard West's softball team get by Westview by a tally of 5-0.

The Wildcats (8-6) will now prepare for their bout against Gretna (Gretna, NE). The Dragons go into the non-league bout with a 15-0 record. In their last bout, Gretna tipped Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE), 3-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the clash with the Bellevue East Chieftains (Bellevue, NE) in a A District bout, on Tuesday, September 10. Westview will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Chieftains go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Central City (Central City, NE).
