In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Vanoss Wolves softball team scored a tight 6-5 win over the Stonewall Longhorns.

The Wolves (8-9) will now prepare for their match against Ada (Ada, OK). The Cougars come into the non-league match with a 4-12 record. In their last match, Ada nipped Tupelo (Tupelo, OK), 14-13, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Longhorns confront the Varnum Whippets (Seminole, OK) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, September 10. Stonewall will attempt to better on its 12-7 season record. The Whippets come into the match with a 3-11 record after their 14-0 non-league loss to Hartshorne (Hartshorne, OK).
