In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Secaucus Patriots volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Bogota Buccaneers.
The Patriots (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ferris (Jersey City, NJ). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Buccaneers play the Paramus Spartans (Paramus, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 7. Bogota will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
